Avery Barry

I have a unique skillset and ability to read the ice which allows me to be effective in a variety of positions, including defense. My versatility permits me to play at both ends of the ice in key moments of the game against other teams' best lines. My experience playing defense and various forward positions allows me to see the ice in a way that others do not. This makes me an effective special teams player on either the power play or penalty kill. In whatever role I play I am an energizer for my team and pride myself on being strong, fast and hard to play against on all areas of the ice.

Off of the ice I have high expectations in the classroom, where I constantly strive to be among the top students in my classes. It is important to me that I continue my strong academic pursuit in the post secondary setting.

My versatility, strong skating and team first attitude makes me a very unique player and asset to any team.
